The 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500 takes place on Sunday 30 May 2027, with race weekend running from Friday 28 May. The month of May brings more than one date worth booking a car for.
Sunday 30 May — Race Day
The 111th Running. Gates open early and the roads around the Speedway close long before the green flag. This is the single busiest transport day of the year in Indianapolis, and the one that books out first.
Friday 28 May — Carb Day
Final practice, the Pit Stop Challenge and the Carb Day concert. A long day at the track that finishes with a crowd leaving at once, which is exactly when a booked car earns its money.
Saturday 29 May — Parade and Legends Day
The 500 Festival Parade runs downtown and Legends Day brings the drivers meeting and autograph sessions at the track. Two different parts of the city, often on the same day.
14–15 May — Indianapolis GP
The road course race earlier in the month. Smaller crowds than the 500 but the same routes, and a good weekend to book if you want the experience without the scale.
8 May — Mini-Marathon
The 500 Festival Mini-Marathon fills downtown hotels and closes central roads for the morning. Worth planning around if you are travelling that weekend.
Qualifying Weekends
Time trials through the middle of May draw serious fans and corporate groups. Quieter than race day and considerably easier to get a vehicle for.

Race day is the one occasion in Indianapolis where driving yourself is genuinely the worse option, and everyone who has done it once already knows why.
You Are Dropped at the Gate

For groups treating race weekend as an occasion. Books out early for the Saturday parade as well as race day itself.
Cadillac Escalade
Smaller parties and corporate hospitality. Also the usual choice for airport runs across the whole month of May.
Inside the Mini Bus
Forward-facing coach seating with overhead storage. Air conditioned, which on race day is not a luxury.
Inside the Sprinter
Premium leather seating with individual climate control. Comfortable for the wait before gates open as well as the ride.

Why May Fills Before March
Every limo, coach and Sprinter in Central Indiana is spoken for on race weekend. It is the only date in the calendar where the entire metro competes for the same finite pool of vehicles.
Corporate hospitality groups book first, often a year out. Wedding parties avoid the date entirely. By the time the field is set in qualifying, the good vehicles have gone.
We are taking 2027 bookings now. Reserve the date and the rate at the same time, and neither moves afterwards — no race weekend surcharge, no renegotiation in April when demand peaks.

When is the 2027 Indy 500?
Sunday 30 May 2027, the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Race weekend runs from Friday 28 May, with Carb Day on the Friday and the 500 Festival Parade and Legends Day on the Saturday.
How early should we book?
As early as you can. Corporate groups often book a year ahead. By the spring the larger vehicles have gone, and what remains is whatever nobody wanted. We are taking 2027 bookings now.
Do you charge more for race weekend?
The rate reflects the date, as it does for any booking, but it is quoted flat and agreed before you commit. There is no surcharge added later and no renegotiation as demand rises. What you agree in autumn is what you pay in May.
How close to the track can you drop us?
As close as the road closures allow on the day, which is considerably closer than any parking you would find yourself. Your chauffeur knows which approaches stay open and adjusts on the day rather than following a plan made in March.
Can you pick us up afterwards too?
Yes, and it is the half most people underestimate. Your chauffeur is positioned before the race ends and stays in contact, so you are not queuing with three hundred thousand other people for a surge-priced ride.
Do you cover the other May events?
Yes. The Indianapolis GP on 14 and 15 May, qualifying weekends, and the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon on 8 May. Any of them can be booked on the same flat-rate basis.
